About the Role

As an Analog Design Engineer Intern, you will collaborate in designing and developing state-of-the-art integrated circuits for Allegro's product portfolio. In this 6 months internship program, you will be part of a talented team of engineers focused on defining new product concepts, develop circuit architectures, and implement innovative analog and mixed-signal designs. Our Milan team is at the forefront of developing advanced power management solutions for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

Support the design and development of analog and mixed-signal circuits for integrated circuits, specifically focusing on automotive applications.

Collaborate to perform circuit simulations and analyses to verify design performance and robustness.

Ensure datasheet specifications are met through top-level simulations.

Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure successful circuit implementation.

Conduct new product verification through laboratory testing, including the creation of test hardware and software.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant coursework in analog IC design, circuit analysis, microelectronic devices, and signal processing.

Experience in analog IC design will be considered a plus

Strong understanding of analog circuit theory and design principles.

Minimum experience with Cadence Virtuoso design tools or similar EDA software will be considered a plus

Minimum experience with circuit simulation tools such as Spectre or HSPICE will be considered a plus

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
