What is your role?

For our largest Value Center Motion Technologies, we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Specialist to join our Talent Management team in Barge (CN). Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will work in a uniquely high-performing, inclusive and collaborative working culture, with responsibility for the Talent Acquisition area for Motion Technologies and ITT.

It designs and manufactures braking technologies, shock absorbers and specialized sealing solutions for the automotive and rail markets. Industrial Process is headquartered in Seneca Falls (N.Y.) with approximately 3,200 employees. It designs and manufactures pumps, valves, monitoring and control systems, water treatment and aftermarket services for the chemical, oil and gas, mining and other industrial process markets, as well as global service capabilities. Connect and Control Technologies is headquartered in Valencia (CA) with about 2,500 employees. It designs and manufactures harsh-environment connectors and critical energy absorption and flow control components primarily for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

Your day in the life of Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Specialist in ITT

In this role, you will proactively support in attracting top early talent, managing recruitment processes, and driving employer branding initiatives. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, innovating recruitment strategies, and contributing to employer branding efforts..

Key responsibilities:

Owning the recruitment process for your assigned business lines, from crafting compelling job descriptions to conducting rigorous assessments and interviews through to closing offers and ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout. Attracting top talent: Networking with industry professionals, attending career fairs, developing innovative sourcing and outreach strategies, and building robust candidate pipelines. Contributing to the design and rollout of initiatives aimed at promoting an exceptional hiring experience for all stakeholders involved. Proactively supporting the Talent Acquisition Manager in the implementation of the employer branding strategy through a variety of online and offline communication channels. Partnering with hiring managers to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service, becoming their go-to TA adviser. Championing diversity and inclusion: Working collaboratively to attract diverse talent and foster a welcoming, inclusive recruitment process. Leveraging data and analytics: Tracking recruitment metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and driving continuous process efficiency. Staying ahead of the curve: Staying updated on industry trends and proactively mapping talent across the industry.

What will make you our perfect match?

Bachelor's degree educated with a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role within an international working environment. Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, with a preference for a focus on early careers (experience in engineering will be highly regarded). Familiarity with processing candidates through Applicant Tracking Systems is preferred, along with the ability to contribute to bi-weekly TA meetings by providing data metrics. A genuine passion for providing an exceptional candidate experience. Ability to adeptly support and manage multiple client and business needs. Demonstrated track record of successful recruitment and hiring within a highly technical environment. Strong collaboration and communication skills, coupled with the ability to build relationships and influence across all organizational levels.
