Associate Director - Client Relationship Management

The Role
Responsible for maintaining existing large Construction client relationships/ portfolios with accountability for client retention as well as new business development. The Associated Director will lead the construction business unit and will manage and develop client and Willis Towers Watson relationships, and service and grow the portfolio within the business unit. The role will also be responsible for targeting and converting prospects. The principal accountability of the position is to put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way you do business.
Principle Duties:
Attendance at the key internal meetings (WTW Italy) Attendance at Global Line of Business meetings. Management of the construction team and team resources Provision of technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required Understanding the client’s business and risk management needs and delivering them through the provision of ongoing service Understanding the client’s global insurance program and utilizing them in accordance with the client’s insurance and risk management philosophy Preparation of market presentations / underwriting submissions if required Interpretation and review of quotations, to ensure fit for purpose and meet client demands/needs Negotiation of terms and cover alterations with insurers and presentation to the client Completion of reports as required – applying both technical and bespoke client knowledge Completion of summaries of insurance for all interested parties (client / network) - applying both technical and client knowledge Attendance at key client and market meetings Working with clients, insurers and overseas network to address and resolve technical and other issues Liaison with other divisions/offices of Willis to access specialist expertise and provide local servicing where needed-
