Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Investigate novel Machine Learning techniques for Nuvera productsPropose Machine Learning solutions for Nuvera applicationsDevelop new algorithms and approaches for data-driven diagnostics & prognosticsDevelop new algorithms and approaches for hybrid physics-based and data-driven prognosticsManage Hardware and Software activities related to fuel cell test bench, data analysis and collection, digital interfaces.Development embedded control systems with Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow for fuel cell productsDevelop embedded control systems with Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow, LabView and Python for lab test benchesCustomize and continuously improve existing control softwareSimulate and verify the control software developedDevelop and verify Human Man Interface for lab applicationsEnsure robust EMC design of CAN devices and buses, troubleshooting activitiesManage functional requirements for HW and SWAssure compliance of HW and SW control systems to relevant code and standardsManage relationship with suppliers to guarantee compliance with requirementsKey/Technical Skills:
Understanding and familiarity with various Machine Learning algorithmsUnderstanding and familiarity with artificial neural networks methodsExperience with embedded control architectures and coding of complex systemsProblem solving attitude, fond of new technologiesA self-started passionate about building things from the ground upAttitude to work in multi-cultural teamsVery good communication skillsEducation and Experience:
An excellent Master Science Degree (Ph.D. is a plus) in Engineering (Automation and Control, Electronics, Mechatronics) or equivalentKnowledge of fuel cell diagnostics & prognostics techniquesPreferred 5-10 years of experienceProficient knowledge of Python (Scikit-learn, Keras, Tensorflow or Pytorch)Experience in control system development in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow, LabView and Python environmentKnowledge of embedded programming systems (C++ or equivalent).Experience in software commissioning and testing activities on electronic componentsKnowledge of communication protocols (CAN J1939 and Ethernet preferred)Experience with control systems for automotive applications, hybrid vehicles or electrical vehicles is considered a plusKnowledge of standards related to control HW and SW applications such as ISO13489 and ISO26262, PL, SIL and ASIL, Ingress Protection, EMC, etc.Knowledge of cloud computing services preferredFluent in EnglishJob ID
