What are yourresponsibilities as Senior Product Software Engineer?

You will boost your career in an Engineering department that will give you a variety of opportunities to contribute to the team activities, follow and sponsor best practices of software development. As a part of a Scrum team, you will actively participate in the software development process (estimation, backlog refinement, coding activities, quality assessment). You will also contribute to the software architecture definition, possibly collaborating with other teams. You are expected to be detail-oriented in establishing the specifications, the quality of the code and the integration tests and to help others to nurture these capabilities.

Our core software engineering department is based in Lucca where all the teams are working closely together in developing our products for our major industries such as banking, insurance, automotive and food and beverage. Every team consists of a QA engineer and 5/6 software engineers. We strongly believe in the Agile way of working and the Scrum methodology has really been embedded in our daily work.

The role can be based in Lucca or Salerno .

Responsibilities: 

Actively participate in the product life cycle from requirements definitions to design, implementation, and product integration.

Contributeto product architectureevolutionfollowingindustry trends, identifying options, andhelpingarchitectsto make the right choice. 

Master themethodologiesandtechnologiesrelatedtothe product software development life cycleanditsenabling tools.

Contributetothetechnicalleadership in the Scrum team, continuouslydrivingqualityandproductivity, alsohelping junior colleagues in theirtechnicalgrowth.

You have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent field).Workexperiencemaysubstituteforeducationrequirement.

At least 5 years' experience on Java (preferred) or C#andtheirapplication development frameworks (such as Spring , Spring Boot ).

Goodexperience on frontendorientedtechnologies, such as JavaScript, Typescript, with a focus on Angular 2+ Framework
Solid understanding of Design Patterns , API design , and SOLID and Clean Code principles. Exposure to software development best practicessuch as TDD andRefactoring.

Experiencewith test practices , such as unit, integration, and E2E testing, andtheirautomation. 

Solid knowledge of Relational Databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA.

Goodpresentation skills.

Fluency in Italian and proficiency in English.

It is better if you also have knowledge of the following:

NoSQL databases.

SDLC tools like Jira, GIT, IntelliJ, Maven, npm, and CI/CD practices.
Virtualizationandorchestrationtechnologiessuch as Docker, Kubernetes.

Cloud computing platforms, such as AWS andAzure.

Designing Distributed Systems (withemphasis on scalability, reliability, security) and microservices architecture, andpublishsubscribeconcepts.
