Responsabilities and activities:

  • Responsible for the design of subcomponents and assemblies regarding transmissions and electric vehicle drives for passenger car and commercial vehicle applications;
  • Participation in the creation of the system architecture for the responsible assembly;
  • Simultaneous engineering with suppliers and internal production facilities;
  • Finalize the documentation (drawings, parts lists, specifications) and submit for approval;
  • Design–to-Cost in collaboration with Cost Engineering and participation in VA/VE teams, including supporting on implementation of this activities to achieve product cost targets;
  • Commissioning and coordination of detailed design (CAD model and drawing) and simulations at national and international development sites;
  • Design support of industrialization, procurement, and quality processes as well as processes in change and variant management internally and externally;
  • Design support and evaluating of customer inquiries and change requests;
  • Coordination of the mechanical and geometric integration of the overall gearbox and evaluating application requirements with customers (customer responsible designer);

 

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering;

  • 2-3 Years Progressive Experience Within Automotive Powertrain Development or Related Field;

  • Knowledge of CAD CREO and PDM Systems;

  • Strong Working Knowledge of Automotive Powertrains, Experience with design-related calculations;

  • Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Skills;

  • Languages: Italian / English;

  • Knowledge of German is plus;
