Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Manager with a strong background in financial institutions or the banking industry to join our dynamic team. As the Cybersecurity Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s digital assets, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and mitigating risks associated with cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage the organization’s cybersecurity strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of robust security controls to protect sensitive financial data and systems.
  • Oversee incident response and recovery efforts, ensuring rapid mitigation of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate security into all aspects of the organization’s operations.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, trends, and technologies in the cybersecurity landscape.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party security solutions.
  • Prepare and present regular security reports to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
  • Support any other operations/CRM-related tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity within the financial services or banking industry.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulatory requirements and best practices for cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency in implementing security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT.
  • Strong expertise in incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate in high-pressure environments and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in English.
