We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef Pastry to join our pastry brigade in a Luxury 5-Star Hotel , supporting the Head Pastry Chef and Executive Chef in the daily operations of the department.
This is a key leadership role within the pastry kitchen, combining hands-on production, team supervision, and operational excellence, while ensuring consistency, quality, and creativity across all pastry offerings.

Pastry Operations & Quality
Support daily pastry operations and ensure full readiness for service
Ensure full compliance with standard recipes, portioning, and HACCP procedures

Ensure all pastry products meet 5-star quality, presentation, and timing standards
Support smooth service during events, tastings, and high-volume operations
Promote a guest-focused and service-driven culture within the pastry team

Support portion control, waste reduction, and proper inventory rotation
Maintain food cost awareness and support stocktaking activities
Supervise and mentor Chef de Partie Pastry, Demi Chef de Partie, Commis, and Apprentices
Support onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of junior pastry staff
Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative pastry kitchen culture

Contribute creative input to pastry menus and seasonal offerings
Collaborate closely with the Sous Chef Pastry and Executive Chef

Proven experience in pastry kitchens within quality hotels or restaurants; luxury hospitality experience is a strong plus
