Offerta

Reporting to: International Sales Director

Responsibilities

  • Acquire local knowledge of regional requirements.
  • Identify potential new markets and install new distributors (in coordination with the International Director).
  • Bring new specifications to new markets in the regions.
  • Visit distributors and key specifiers and keep regular contact.
  • Train Distributor personnel.
  • Support implementation of the strategy of the company. Identify potential needs for support (i.e. marketing, technical etc).
  • Identify project opportunities, identify interaction of specifiers and contractors.
  • Initiate and track progress of all specifications by visit and/or telephone, recording outcome in CRM.

Competenze ed esperienza

Education & Qualifications

  • The basic academic of professional qualifications accepted.
  • Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering HNC or equivalent.
  • English and Italian, language fluent, spoken, reading and writing.

Experience

  • A background in the construction / engineering / specification industry.
  • Specification Selling experience.
  • Managing & motivating a distributor network.
  • Used to regular business travel.
  • Working in a technical environment.
  • Understands the Italian Market.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to communicate at all levels within a business environment.
  • An understanding of the construction industry and allied trades.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and confident to speak in public for group presentations.
  • Team working and the ability to motivate others.
  • Understanding of technical issues.
  • Microsoft Office suite.
  • CRM systems.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Sales skills / training.
