Reporting to: International Sales Director
Responsibilities
- Acquire local knowledge of regional requirements.
- Identify potential new markets and install new distributors (in coordination with the International Director).
- Bring new specifications to new markets in the regions.
- Visit distributors and key specifiers and keep regular contact.
- Train Distributor personnel.
- Support implementation of the strategy of the company. Identify potential needs for support (i.e. marketing, technical etc).
- Identify project opportunities, identify interaction of specifiers and contractors.
- Initiate and track progress of all specifications by visit and/or telephone, recording outcome in CRM.
Competenze ed esperienza
Education & Qualifications
- The basic academic of professional qualifications accepted.
- Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering HNC or equivalent.
- English and Italian, language fluent, spoken, reading and writing.
Experience
- A background in the construction / engineering / specification industry.
- Specification Selling experience.
- Managing & motivating a distributor network.
- Used to regular business travel.
- Working in a technical environment.
- Understands the Italian Market.
Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to communicate at all levels within a business environment.
- An understanding of the construction industry and allied trades.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and confident to speak in public for group presentations.
- Team working and the ability to motivate others.
- Understanding of technical issues.
- Microsoft Office suite.
- CRM systems.
- Negotiation skills.
- Sales skills / training.
