Join our Partner Team Overview Our Channel Organisation is responsible for selling Application and API security solutions, Segmentation, Cloud and more via our partner ecosystem. Our goal is to navigate an evolution within customers to a more secure, dynamic and agile infrastructure. Collaborating with our Regional Sales Teams, Enterprise sales, Channel and Field Marketing and other internal teams and external partners is key. Develop your Partners You will be responsible for developing relationships with dedicated partners (Carriers, GSIs) and distributors. Using your relationship skills, you'll increase revenue from existing channel partners, develop pipeline and generate new business, mainly within the Italian region. Responsibilities Developing strategic partnerships to maximize territory opportunities through new accounts and meeting sales quotas. Creating and managing a sales pipeline with forecast accuracy to prospective customers in collaboration with your partners. Becoming a subject matter expert on our Akamai propositions and products to effectively identify potential partnerships. Managing contract negotiations when recruiting partners, ensuring a seamless service. Collaborating with Partner Enablement Managers to generate sales, training, and certifications. Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure customers' requirements are successfully delivered. Qualifications Have relevant experience in Sales, Channel sales and Partner Management. Have experience within the Enterprise Security market, as well as Cloud Business. Have high ethics, integrity, and humility with a desire to operate as part of a team. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholders.
