Sales Manager – North American Market
The Sales Manager – North American Market will be responsible for driving business growth through the acquisition and management of B2B partnerships within the luxury travel sector. The role involves developing strategic sales plans, identifying new market opportunities, and representing Top Travel Italy at international trade events and industry gatherings. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver customized travel proposals that align with client expectations and uphold the brand’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and map market potential for luxury travel to Italy within the North American region.
Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to expand business opportunities.
Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with premium travel agencies, tour operators, and luxury travel advisors.
Represent the company at international trade shows, industry events, workshops, and trade missions.
Collaborate with the Product team to design tailored proposals that reflect regional preferences and cultural insights.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to inform strategic decisions.
Define, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to business planning.
Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, negotiation, closing, and post‑sales relationship management.
Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in international sales or business development within the luxury travel, DMC, or hospitality sector.
Comprehensive understanding of the North American luxury travel markets.
Proven track record in B2B sales and managing international partnerships.
In‑depth knowledge of Italy as a premium travel destination.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.
High level of cross‑cultural awareness and adaptability.
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales management tools.
Availability for frequent travel within the assigned territories.
