We are looking for a highly motivated Contract Logistics Team Leader to join us in our Mantua warehouse. We are creating a 130,000 sqm state-of-the-art, fully automated warehouse that will handle logistics services for our client adidas and serve 19 countries across Eastern and Southern Europe. Your Role

As a Team Leader, you will be part of the Operations team, being responsible for managing small teams during shifts and motivating them to achieve the best quality of work in a highly automatized environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support processes by collaborating in the fulfillment of customer orders with direct support to operational activities within the department;
  • Supervise the business shift trend and support the Contract Logistics Shift Leader by reporting critical information regarding the assigned area;
  • Adjust and adapt the shift staff model by respecting the Contract Logistics Shift Leader guidelines;
  • Identify and communicate to Contract Logistics Shift Leader potential issues related to the operated shift;
  • Provide training and feedback to line workers on quality performance and safe behaviors;
  • Be an ambassador and role model of right execution of activities and respect for safety rules.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • 0 – 2 years’ experience in large scale (>300FTE) highly automated fulfilment operations with strong preference given to eCommerce / Fashion / Retail experience;
  • Experience with fast-paced work environments where analytical skills, ability to identify root causes of problems, and predict problems by examining situations with a metric-based approach are considered crucial;
  • Solid exposure to team working in logistics and/or productive contexts with high volumes;
  • Experience with operational environments where safety is considered a fundamental priority and consequently, capable to inform, guide and teach clearly and efficiently safety paradigms and rules;
  • Due to the automated characteristic of the site, it is preferable to have experience with operational activities where a deep IT sensitivity has been required.
