About the role

We are seeking a dedicated individual for a role that centers around Provet Cloud, our cloud-based veterinary practice management software (). Provet Cloud is designed to help veterinary practitioners save time so they can devote more attention to caring for their patients and to make managing a veterinary practice more efficient and simpler. It offers features for appointment scheduling, electronic medical records, inventory management, billing, and communication within the veterinary team.

We’re looking for a result-driven, collaborative Account Executive for the Italian market. You will be a key member of our Southern European team, taking on responsibilities for owning and delivering your revenue target in the Italian market. You might also participate in sales activities in other Southern European markets.

To succeed you must have a strong understanding of what it takes to build and manage a sales funnel, from generating high outbound engagement at the top of the funnel, to personally delivering high quality demonstrations which help prospects understand how they can digitally transform their veterinary clinic to improve their patient care.

Your key responsibilities include:

Reporting to the Sales Manager SE (Southern Europe), you will help drive Provet Cloud’s growth across the Italian market, with accountability for helping to develop and secure new revenue opportunities.

In this role you will

  • Exceed your individual targets by building a pipeline of opportunities, maintaining high outbound engagement and ensuring a quick response to leads generated from inbound channels.

  • Drive deals through the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery, through to platform demonstration and closure. Ensuring our prospective customers receive the highest level of service at each stage of their Provet Cloud journey.

  • Provide development in the Italian sales team to improve our results, with an emphasis on conversion rates.

  • Conduct weekly revenue forecast meetings with the Sales team and track key productivity metrics (e.g. revenue secured, # of calls, # of demo’s, pipeline coverage etc).

  • Represent Provet Cloud at industry events and conferences in the Italian market.

  • Become an expert on our practice management solution and the value it provides our customers, keeping up-to-date on the latest product developments and industry trends to engage with our prospective customers.

What will help you to be successful in this role?

Ideally, you have a proven track record of selling software in value based engagements and achieving personal and team goals. We’re looking for someone with 3+ years of Sales experience within an Enterprise SaaS organization.

In addition, we humbly request that you hold:

  • Strong ability and interest to grow business in a strategic manner including demand generation

  • Excellent coaching, writing, discovery and presentation skills

  • A full EU driving license.

  • Knowledge in the veterinary field - this is a definite plus

We are looking for candidates who are preferably based in Italy with full proficiency in Italian and English . Spanish and Portuguese are considered a plus.
