Key Account Manager North-East Italy

Candidate preferably based in Verona, Padua, or Venice area.

Purpose of the role

The main responsibility of the North-East Key Account Manager is to manage and nurture relationships with the Company's most significant customers. This involves working closely with clients to understand their requirements, devising strategies to meet them, and collaborating with internal teams to guarantee customer satisfaction within the framework of Company guidelines and regulations.

Main responsibilities

  • Sell the complete range of Organon products and services to achieve revenue targets within designated accounts.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of assigned accounts, identify their priorities and needs, and convert them into business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement account plans for assigned accounts.
  • Analyze sales data and provide recommendations for enhancement.
  • Anticipate client needs and propose solutions to address complex business challenges, working in conjunction with various departments.
  • Collaborate with the Tender team to review contracts and renewals.
  • Generate and oversee the execution of substantial and intricate deals with clients utilizing the full Company portfolio.
  • Monitor client satisfaction continuously, working alongside the Sales Director, Tender team, and Customer Care team to uphold a high level of customer contentment.
  • Meet financial targets for the Area by proactively managing all relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and map out all pertinent accounts and stakeholders, implementing strategies to ensure rapid adoption and sustainable growth of products, including new product launches.
  • Cultivate relationships with healthcare specialists, pharmacists, and budget holders to effectively influence adoption pathways and purchasing decisions.
  • Complete all necessary Company administrative tasks and reports promptly to ensure the availability of high-quality management information.

Your profile

  • Hold a BA or BSc degree, preferably in Economics.
  • Possess a minimum of 6 years of commercial experience in sales, with a track record of managing complex client deals and a strong background in business development, showcasing exceptional negotiation and consultative selling skills.
  • Accumulate 3 years of Sales or Customer Management experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Demonstrate a clear ability to acquire new business from both existing and new accounts, achieving revenue and customer satisfaction objectives, while fostering robust business relationships.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Tender process, rules, and key role mapping within account and regional procurement flows.
  • Show proven expertise in account planning and accurate sales forecasting at the account level.
  • Display knowledge of social media utilization for business development purposes, with additional languages being advantageous.
  • Possess comprehensive commercial awareness and tactical planning skills necessary for achieving business objectives.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
  • Have a proficient level of English fluency, with knowledge of other languages considered a plus.
