RINA is currently looking for a Italy System Engineering Manager to be part of their team in Rome at the Space & Defence Division.Main ObjectiveThe Operational Competence Manager will oversee the System Engineering Competence Center and its team, ensuring continuous development of skills and engagement with customers.Key Responsibilities- Design, coordinate, and enhance projects within the System Engineering Unit at RINA Space and Defence Business Unit.- Manage the portfolio of competences necessary for securing new contracts, renewing existing ones, and delivering contractual services.- Develop strategies in collaboration with the Business Development Manager/Sales Manager to seize opportunities.- Monitor System Engineering unit budgets, invoices, and performance reports.- Establish industry partnerships following RINA standards and regulations.Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in project development, R&D, and competence development.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Financial literacy and understanding of budgets and financial statements.
  • Expertise in System Engineering principles and standards.
  • Experience in system integration and validation.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English communication.
