About the Role Amazon is the most customer‐centric company. Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) in partnership with Retail Business Services (RBS) are a paid B2B service that aims to help key Vendors partner with Amazon. The Vendor Consultant (VC) will help shape and deliver on a strategy for managing key metric pillars for Amazon AVS vendors. Soft Skills: bright, customer centric, driven, and creative. The VC will interface internally with leaders from RBS, Retail, and Vendor Services teams and will be responsible for certain aspects of the vendor's business with Amazon. They will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize business for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.com, conceive, create and analyze a wide range of data, grow the vendor's traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon, and look into strategic and operational aspects of their business with Amazon. Key Job Responsibilities Success will be measured by the performance of internal teams on input metrics and the impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience. Partner with Retail (AVS) Team to manage vendor relationships by championing the vendor's needs at Amazon. Build communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage toward a growth plan for the vendors. Build and execute on a strategic account plan that delivers key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and Amazon. Work with internal Amazon teams/vendors to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience. Conduct deep analysis on handled issues for the vendors and develop recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience. Provide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps, and execution. Establish long‐term partnerships with key vendor partners for the group of vendors handled. Support the launches of new programs and features. Conduct regular WBR, MBRs with the vendors highlighting business metric performance and building action plans. Metric influencing – understand a metric and create realistic forecasts, take calculated risks, and react quickly with new action plans. Basic Qualifications B2 Certification minimum (Italian) 2 years of experience in vendor/account/catalog management, buying/sourcing/sales, product management, supply chain 2 years of experience interacting with customers/stakeholders 1 year of program or project management experience Experience using data to influence business decisions Knowledge of advanced Excel (array and statistical formulas) Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Fast learner and ability to deal with ambiguity Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of macros and data analytics Ability to drive process or procedure improvements Knowledge of tools such as Sharepoint, SIM‐ticketing, and project management tools as well as experience using scripts.
