Overview2 Hour Learning seeks a technically rigorous product leader to spearhead the modernization of our AI-driven learning ecosystem. This position demands the technical depth of a CTO, the strategic vision to drive transformational outcomes, and the dedication to apply both toward unlocking student potential at scale.Traditional education companies treat AI as an add-on to legacy models. We took a different approach: we reconstructed the school model entirely, leveraging AI and learning science to eliminate the limitations inherent in conventional classrooms. The results speak for themselves — our students achieve multiple 4s and 5s on AP exams, demonstrate multi-year academic growth within a single year, and consistently exceed their own projected performance. This is not a conventional product management position centered on user feedback cycles or incremental releases. This is an executive-level technical product ownership role in which you will control the architecture, technical strategy, and AI integration across our complete learning platform. You will make critical technical tradeoffs to keep our products lean, scalable, and laser-focused on advancing student outcomes. You will think with the mindset of a CTO while executing with the speed of a product entrepreneur, combining engineering discipline with learning science principles to deliver continuous breakthroughs.If you are prepared to lead the technical transformation of education and possess the executional discipline to realize that vision, we invite your application. Vice President Of Product Engineering Key Responsibilities
Significant experience or strong interest in data-driven learning science
7+ years of experience making critical architecture and design decisions on software projects, including application of architecture design patterns or major open source technologies
2+ years of experience making design decisions involving cloud computing services (primarily AWS)
