Barilla Group is looking for a student or fresh graduate for an internship starting in May 2024 in our Insight & International Development unit based in Parma.


The Insight & International Development team within Analytics department, has a global scope, developing leading edge expert & agile approach to support the business strategic priorities in challenging business environment; by leveraging the best integration of qualitative & quantitative advanced tools, so as to guarantee the most actionable and impactful inputs to the Brand/Categories and providing guidance to key decision makers within the Global Barilla Marketing and Communication organization.


JOB PURPOSE


The purpose of the internship is to provide project management and deliver consumer & shopper insights to inform successful business options and build an insight inspired and data driven pattern for Brand expansion, Innovation and Competition management.


The role will interact with all levels of stakeholders and gather critical ad hoc and syndicated data, compile information, develop analysis and spread key findings.


In conjunction with ad hoc qualitative and quantitative research this position will support the team in managing custom market data analysis, building a culture of consumer centricity, in order to support brand growth and identify future opportunities for expansion.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • On the basis of Global Barilla Marketing requests, supply briefs to external agencies, analyze the relative results, prepare reports, recommendations and diffuse data; coordinate projects across Regions and keep applied tools and analysis in the perimeter of I&ID global insights strategy.
  • Demonstrate the link between insights capabilities and business impact, highlighting new and nonobvious opportunities and identifying business pain points to guide improved performance.
  • Ensure that research projects are properly managed.
  • Ensure that research is properly analyzed and translated into reports/action plans/recommendations, in order to encourage business decisions, inform strategy, enhance growth.
  • Keep 'consumers' and shoppers' fundamentals always fresh and uptodate, with particular focus on Company's core targets and strategic goals.
  • Acquire research and ad hoc market data from wellknown and trustworthy agencies and suppliers and prepare analysis/interpretation combining data and intuition.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have recently graduated (or are about to) in Business, Marketing, Analytics
  • Be comfortable in an international environment
  • Have project management and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate with stakeholders of all levels
  • Have fluency in Italian and English
