Description:

We are currently looking for an Associate Chemist for our Analytical lab. based at our Minerbio Plant (Bologna).

Main Tasks:

  • Support the liquid and powder coating divisions, in particular:
  • the R&D Labs
- the production
- and Technical Assistance

  • Support to Quality control of incoming raw materials
  • Support to Quality control in production of finished good
  • We give support about:
  • New Product Development
  • Evaluation New Raw Materials
  • Benchmarking Evaluation
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Continuous improvement of existing processes
  • Customer Claims
  • Periodic Customer Product Check
  • Analytical methods development
  • Polymer characterization
  • Operate, clean and calibrate a variety of equipment that requires professional judgment and background.

The analyses are performed by mean of:

  • ATR/FT-IR
  • Micro-FTIR
  • GC-FID
  • GC-MS (HS, Pyrolysis, TDU, liquid injection)
  • GPC/SEC
  • Rheometer
  • Karl-Fischer
  • Automatic Titrator

Profile:

  • Master degree in Chemistry
  • Understanding of fundamental professional chemistry principles and practices;
  • Operating a variety of laboratory equipment;
  • English (B2)/Italia
