R&d Associate Chemist

For our GI Powder coatings laboratory based at Minerbio (Bologna) we are actively looking for an Associate Chemist R&D. In this role, you will perform entry-level analyses, testing, and formulation of new products.

- Performs analyses, tests, and development of new or updated formulas,
- Site support activities focus on support QC and formula transfer.
- Formula optimization process works with process team to ensure the productivity.
- Formula management in ERP system,
- Quality investigations activities to support ARC analysis,
- Provides feedback, test results, and data regarding the formulation process and recommends modifications to formulas.
- Complete a variety of forms and documents detailing test findings and basic project results;
- Serve as a team member for projects which objectives that are outlined, short-term, and are less complex in nature and provides professional support to the product development, quality control, manufacturing processes, and other operations.
- Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Respond to standard to questions and concerns from plants, research technicians, quality control, and other internal parties regarding development and related programs and services.
- Operate, clean, and calibrate a variety of equipment that requires professional judgment and background; also utilizes technical or standard equipment during projects.
- Understanding of fundamental professional chemistry principles and practices;
- Master degree in Chemistry,
- experience within a laboratory,
- Formulating experience,
- Prioritizing daily project tasks;
- Italian/English,
- Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
