Sales Support & SVCs Specialist

About the role:


The Sales Support and SVCs Specialist is a pivotal role in supporting our senior VP and sales team in the execution and delivery of activities functional to the growth of our Business Unit.

Responsibilities will include diary management, organizing and coordinating local events, and supporting Sales Strategic Planning & Marketing activities.

What you will do:

  • Effectively managing and maintaining VP calendar, preparing and coordinating every meeting, including preparing and collecting information in preparation and booking of conference rooms when needed.
  • Supporting VP with team activities and to develop innovative ideas for team collaboration, team meetings and general team engagement within a Virtualfirst company approach.
  • Providing general administrative support to Managers/VPs, including assisting with ad hoc requests from Sales BUs /Leaders.
  • Establishing and maintain effective communication with sales teams, ensuring they have the relevant admin tools available to carry out their roles effectively.
  • Keeping org charts and DL up to date.
  • Update Open territory specialist team when an open territory occurs, so that territory is covered.
  • Keeping up to date with technology enhancements/training through company's platform to advise VPs and SMs on how best to leverage the technology for virtual/live meetings.
  • Handling travels arrangements and any other essentials and raise requisitions and submit invoices based on company processes and within the budget.
  • Ensure all expenditures are authorized, cost effectively and in line with company guidelines.

Other priorities:

  • Supporting on lead actioning rates activity, weekly stalled deal review, monthly accuracy in RLC execution.
  • Supporting high quality execution of Quarterly Sales Campaign.
  • Attending monthly marketing meetings to share information with sales team.
  • Managing marketing database, inform the sales team on how to send invitations, and perform other marketing liaison as necessary, and keeping an ongoing stock of the current marketing materials.
  • Planning, organizing and coordinating local events for Clients and prospects.
  • Coordinating marketing activities towards clients and Prospects, sales and promotional campaigns
  • Supporting internal processes and documents collection regarding tenders contracting with clients and mainly on Public Sector, RFPs, RFQs, invoicing.
  • Managing public administrations portals.
  • Managing and coordinating activities to support the publications on Italian IT magazines.
  • Supporting activities for Gartner Italy brand awareness.

What you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to function in a dynamic and rapidly changing sales and technology environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with senior level management/partners.
  • Excellent organization skills and high level of attention to details.
  • Fully competent in Microsoft office products.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
