Mission
This role focuses on safety critical avionics software verification and validation activities, providing support to SW developers in designing solutions.
Key Accountabilities
The Candidate will be part of a team of V&V engineers based in Rome , and will have the following responsibilities:
- Review SW High Level Requirements, Architectural Design and Low Level Requirements
- Design SW Test Cases & Procedures
- Execute SW Tests Cases
- Manage Testing Documentation
The following technical skills are required:
- Knowledge of software verification and validation techniques (High and Low level testing).
- Ability to write SW testing and verification documentation.
- Knowledge of C
- Knowledge of OpenGL
The following skills are considered preferable:
- Knowledge of software safety aspects and the DO-178C standard (at least DAL C)
- Knowledge of avionic interphases (Bus1553, discrets, NVM, SPI)
- Knowledge of Structural Coverage dedicated tools (e.g. LDRA, Vector CAST/Cover)
- Ability to work in team
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer EngineeringQualifications
