Topps International, a division of Fanatics Collectibles, is hiring a Director of Sales and Marketing for our trading card and sticker business in Italy.

The ideal candidate is a successful developer of business, an excellent communicator and strategic problem solver, and must be a highly flexible self-starter with top-notch analytical skill.

Candidates with a passion for sports, collectibles entertainment will likely find themselves a strong cultural fit.

This is a full-time position based out of our office in Assago (MI), reporting to the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing.

ResponsibilitiesSet sales targets and goals for mass market, kiosk, hobby and hobby retail product channels, and ensure targets are met or exceededAnalyze local market opportunities and needs, develop country specific strategies in order to achieve sales targetsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities and potential partnerships within the industryLead, mentor, and motivate the Sales and Marketing team in Italy, providing guidance and support to help them achieve individual and team KPIsWork together with existing and new distribution partners, local suppliers and internal departments to deliver a smooth business operation and sustainable growth targetsDevelop and execute strategies and plans to plans to expand the customer base Establish strong relationship with all the stakeholders in this category (influencers, breakers, stores, distributors, sport clubs)Oversee trading card shows and hobby events strategy in ItalyDefine and implement marketing, communication and promotional strategy for category (trading cards, stickers, flow pack)Monitor market trends and customer preferences to identify areas for improvement and innovationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing and Product Development, to develop and launch new products and promotional campaignsAnalyze sales data and generate reports to track performance, identify trends, set pricing & forecasting, and provide insights for decision-makingStay up to date with industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in hobby and collectibles salesWorking together internal departments (operations, brand, finance) to secure allocation, delivery and profitable growthRequired Skills and ExperienceAt least 8 years' experience in a sales and marketing leadership position in a relevant industry (collectibles, hobby, sports, toys, entertainment)A sports fan with a strong understanding of the commercial landscape, including knowledge on the mass market & hobby trading card landscape is a huge plusEnglish and Italian fluency are a mustExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersProven knowledge and application of a wide range of sales techniques and concepts to increase sales within the regionEngagement with local influencers and flagship stores in hobby & entertainment category Flexible, but organized work method with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing global environmentExcellent executive presentation skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to changeComfortable presenting to senior stakeholders Self-motivated and the ability to drive resultsEnsure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don't fall victim to fraud.
