Job Summary: The Product Manager is accountable for formulating the growth strategy for designated products. This role propels profitable revenue growth, achieving positive financial outcomes by leveraging product expertise, market awareness, a quality-driven approach, innovation, and strategic foresight. Success in this role necessitates impactful leadership and a dedicated collaborative effort in overseeing the product lifecycle, establishing multi-generational product plans, executing new product development initiatives, conducting customer research, facilitating commercialization, and providing support for the effective implementation of the go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities:

IN-LINE: Product Lifecycle Management

  • Support standard management routines concerning Product Growth IDMs (Impact Daily Management), including managing meeting schedules, analyzing metrics, conducting market studies, and employing an efficient visual management system.
  • Conduct regular industry, market, and competitor assessments, with detailed segmentation of end consumers and customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to evaluate and refine marketing strategies, plans, and promotional activities for existing product lines based on performance.
  • Propose improvements to current product offerings based on customer feedback, product line evaluations, or opportunities for enhanced productivity.
  • Assist in monthly/quarterly P&L analyses and implement adjustments to surpass planned targets.
  • Participate and offer business insights for lean transformation initiatives across designated product lines.

GDLO: New Product Launch Process

  • Lead/cooperate in identifying unmet customer needs for new product offerings or line extensions and suggest necessary features for development.
  • Oversee the analysis needed to determine optimal launch pricing and pricing policies for new or updated products.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to devise and execute marketing strategies, plans, and promotions for new or updated products.
  • Manage the launch of new products, ensuring the fulfillment of business volume, profitability, and quality targets.
  • Provide leadership to ensure consistency in the New Product Development process, Innovation to Value, quality, and reliability to meet or exceed customer expectations.

STRATEGY: Product Line Management

  • Conduct regular customer-centric reviews of all managed product lines to facilitate effective decisions related to product lifecycle management.
  • Generate 'business pulse' reports and financial updates on assigned product offerings on a consistent basis to keep portfolio managers and business leaders informed of progress.
  • Lead routine customer-focused reviews for assigned product generations.
  • Collaborate with engineering to establish and update a technology roadmap for designated offerings.
  • Evaluate growth prospects for IR to engage in swiftly growing and profitable markets.
  • Analyze competing opportunities and initiatives to make informed decisions on which opportunities to pursue as part of the overall strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in industrial equipment and Lean Six Sigma environment is preferred.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements: 40% travel throughout EMEIA.

Key Competencies:

  • 5+ years of progressive product management experience is required, along with strategic marketing and P&L leadership expertise.
  • Demonstrated Business Acumen and strategy development proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills for informed decision-making to drive profitable growth.
  • Proficiency in English and any other European language is advantageous.
