This is a non-renewable post for a limited duration until 31 December 2026 and is classified A2-A4 on the Coordinated Organisations' salary scale.
This opportunity is open for the specific needs of a National Project. Accordingly, the external candidate selected for this post will continue to be considered an external candidate for the purposes of any future applications to the Agency.

Coordinator of Service 8 Validation in the Italian Earth Observation National Project "IRIDE", Projects Department (EOP-P) in the Directorate of Earth Observation Programmes.
DutiesYou will report to the IRIDE Project Manager and will act as a single point of contact for all Service 8 validation activities conducted by designated external experts belonging to the Italian Army Forces, the Police, the Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza and the Fire Brigade, as well as Intelligence representatives. You will contribute to the specification of the testing and performance of Service 8.
Your duties will include:
- managing the development and ensuring the completion of all the individual services belonging to the Service 8 domain;
- optimising the coherence of the system design – as far as Service 8 is concerned – with user requirements;
- acting as the single point of contact for all external user interfaces for the purpose of testing and validating the various services within the Service 8 domain;
- reporting on progress and proactively mitigating the related development risks.

The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
