We are looking for

A driven and enthusiastic Head of People & Culture (m/w/d), who will lead our HR team and drive our people strategy forward. Our people are our greatest asset, and we are committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

Your role in BizAway:

  1. People Strategy and Compliance
    • Partnering with the company founders, define the short and mid-term people strategy for BizAway.
    • Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect best practices and the evolving needs of the organization.
  2. Optimize Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
    • Develop and implement a streamlined hiring process that attracts top talent aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
    • Develop and execute sourcing plans to attract qualified candidates through various channels.
    • Enhance employer branding by promoting BizAway.
  3. Enhance Employee Retention and Engagement
    • Design and execute programs aimed at improving employee retention, engagement, and satisfaction.
    • Conduct regular employee feedback surveys and implement action plans based on insights.
  4. Performance Management and Development
    • Establish a robust performance management framework that aligns individual goals with organizational objectives.
    • Implement leadership development programs and career pathing initiatives.
  5. Data-Driven People Metrics
    • Establish a people analytics dashboard consisting of key metrics for informed decision-making.
    • Monitor turnover rates, employee satisfaction scores, and other relevant metrics.
  6. Culture and Values Champion
    • Act as a culture champion, promoting the organization’s purpose and values throughout all HR initiatives.
    • Foster an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.
  7. Support for Scaling Operations
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align HR strategies with business objectives.
    • Identify and implement scalable HR solutions.
  8. Employee Relations and Support
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, guiding employee relations matters.
    • Demonstrate experience in a strategic HR role with an understanding of best practices and employment laws.
    • Ensure that employees have access to resources and support for issues related to people policies.
  9. Leadership and Team Development
    • Facilitate leadership training and development initiatives.
    • Encourage collaboration and communication among teams.

Your basic qualifications:

  • Proven experience in building out an HR function in a fast-growing digital business.
  • Strong capacity to build and lead an effective talent acquisition team.
  • Strong people management and team collaboration skills.
  • Proactive and reliable approach, with excellent organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in People Management Systems, MS Office, Google Workplace Suite.

We are also interested in:

  • Experience in a sustainability-related field and performing ESG due diligence.
  • Experience with labor laws, compensation, and benefits strategies.
  • Commercial focus and mindset.
  • Ability to work in an evolving, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong English level, verbal and written.
  • Any other European language will be considered a plus.
