Senior Manager for NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting
Milan, Italy
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Manager within Supply Chain Consulting of NTT DATA, you support with growing the Italian business. The Supply Chain Consulting team is creating value for their clients by improving the supply chains through enhanced planning, network design, and supply chain operations. In this role, you will report to the Managing Director responsible for Italy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify new business opportunities by collaborating with: (1) colleagues from other parts of the NTT DATA family, (2) one of our planning technology partners, (3) direct channel of prospects and existing customers.
• Present Supply Chain propositions.
• Create proposals and drive continued revenue growth.
• Foster relationships with clients and alliance partners.
• Increase visibility of Supply Chain Consulting in the European market, particularly in Italy.
• Take ownership of recruitment according to business growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will:
• Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a leading institution in engineering, operations research, supply chain management, or a related major (Master’s degree preferred).
• Have a minimum of 12+ years experience in the supply chain industry, preferably working with quantitative tools and methodology in analyzing supply chain decisions (specific experience in consulting is a significant advantage).
• Demonstrate a track record of business development in supply chain.
• Understand client requirements, fit and tailor supply chain propositions, and present compelling solutions to prospects.
• Network within large organizations, like NTT DATA Italy.
• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Be fluent in Italian and English.
TOOLS
Experience working with planning tools from o9 Solutions, Toolsgroup, and/or BlueYonder is preferred.
