For Anagni Site, we are looking for an IT – Automation and Manufacturing Systems Specialist to join the team.

The role:

  • Ensure adequate management, improvement and ongoing support, working together with other departments, of the existing IT systems.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of IT and automation related projects, with major focus on manufacturing shop floor environment, by identifying the IT requirements, supporting the design phase, estimating the resources and the support needed for the completion of the project.
  • Ongoing application support, change management activities with associated documentation update/development, as well as system monitoring.
  • Manages autonomously assigned business project tasks with IT streams with full control of given budget and spending costs required to carry out the implementation.
  • Responsible for the management, as system administrator, of the first investigations in case of issues.
  • Manage all assigned deviations or support the investigation related to IT systems, and ensure the management of supported IT systems and relationships with external vendors for application/servers troubleshooting.
  • Support the regulatory agencies inspections and client audit, and ensure compliance with current regulations, as well as GMP/ IT regulations and Data Integrity principles.
  • Coordination of both the internal and external resources that work on the projects, ensuring that all personnel under its supervision operate in accordance with the cGMP and EHS procedures. Make sure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are drafted and assure the implementation of training in compliance with current regulations (GMP, CRF 21 part 11), internal and corporate procedures.

The candidate:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or in an IT environment, preferably in the chemical/pharmaceutical area or in complex factories;
  • Education: Computer Engineering degree (bachelor’s or master’s degree); Automation/Electronic Engineering degree with IT specialization (bachelor’s or master’s degree);
  • Skills in proposing hardware/software solution packets to business users.
  • Consolidated knowledge of all newest technology and most advanced IT systems implemented and supported.
  • Knowledge of the main software and SCADA systems used for automation processes: iFix, Wonderware, MS SQL, Acronis True Image, MS Windows Server;
  • Good level of both spoken and written English.
