Director of Sales and Marketing - Thompson RomeThe Director of Sales and Marketing of Thompson Rome will be the leader of a luxury lifestyle vision and will play a key role for sales and marketing activities. He/She will have a strong focus on Hyatt ideals and on Thompson Vision.
The Thompson Rome is the perfect gateway to the vibrant heart of the Eternal City. Our hotel's prime location makes it easy to explore iconic landmarks and discover the city's hidden gems.
With 69 elegantly designed rooms featuring local materials and cozy wooden floors, our guests can enjoy breathtaking views of Rome right from their window. The pure concept of Lifestyle combined with Italian hospitality.
The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for all sales strategy and will be responsible for instilling Hyatt ideals in his or her employees, dedicating themselves to ensuring service that lives up to company standards. Beyond that, he/she will have to devote himself to building new relationships with customers, supervising all sales activities, and training employees.
Key Responsibilities- Key account management of existing customers
- Lead and exceed stay/ADR targets in coordination with Revenue Department
- Promote the Luxury lifestyle concept proper to Thompson's culture
- Promote and maintain a perfect and up-to-date knowledge of the group's business portfolio: history, business operations, services offered, amenities, to support the continuous promotion of the entire group
- Plan, organize, support and participate in the strategic plan and assist in budget creation
- Plan, in coordination with centralized management, a communications and marketing strategy for the hotel, with a focus on the target markets identified for Thompson
- Collaborate with centralized management for alignment and ongoing development of strategies and tactics to maintain and grow the business and support revenue maximization
- Develop online and offline communication materials and solutions by creatively contributing and developing textual/visual strategies and content
- Plan and execute sales mission in key market areas
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry
- Bachelor's degree in economics or similar
- Sales leadership for a luxury lifestyle product
- Good knowledge of partners, events, and tradeshows to drive demand from specific source markets
- Previous experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing or similar position
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of the local and luxury market is essential
- Study of competitors
- Budget management
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
This position is at a location where Hyatt is not the employer. The employer of individuals working at this hotel may be a third-party management company that is responsible for all employment benefits and obligations at this location.
