RINA is currently recruiting for a High Pressure Plant Engineer to join its office in ROME within the Materials & Technologies Division.

Mission

RINA Consulting – Centro Sviluppo Materiali is seeking a resource to be included as a Laboratory Engineer in the "Full-Scale Testing" Laboratory. The Laboratory is involved in mechanical testing on components or part of components in their real dimensions, verifying functionality, performance, and limits of operation under real use conditions and in the realization of high-pressure plants for full-scale testing of interest for the Oil & Gas sector (e.g., tests for propagation of ductile fracture on pipelines in the presence of gas, hydrogen pressure cycling on pipes, etc.). Frequent tests are also conducted on real-sized components for the Aerospace & Defense sector and other application sectors.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Design tests and associated plants.
  2. Execute compliance tests according to European and international standards based on the tested component, defining the test layout and procedure.
  3. Conduct special tests in accordance with specifications defined by the Client and/or Manufacturer.
  4. Generate test reports in English.
  5. Define technical specifications and/or design testing equipment.
  6. Periodically verify the calibration status of the instrumentation in use, managing the instrument park for maintenance and calibration efficiency.
  7. Collaborate with other team members for the execution of work and to solve any potential problems.
Education

Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
