The goal is to unlock the full potential in each colleague empowering our people to grow as insurance professionals and add more value to our customers and AIG.How you will create an impactYou will contribute to the growth and profitability of AIG AESA unit by providing administration support to specific Lines of Business in Italy assisting the UW community. You will serve both internal & external customers by completing administrative tasks for specific LOB underwriters; responding to customer requests; resolving complaints & maintaining data quality in systems. Consistently meet service levels and performance targets in terms of volume accuracy and quality.This role reports to the Country Operations Manager.The responsibilities for this role include :Partner with underwriters and COE partners for end-to-end processing of new renewal business as well as endorsements.Participate in pre-binding activities :Liaising with brokers / clients gather information necessary to prepare quotes (either for new submissions or renewals) and update raters update raters when deemed necessaryPrepare the referral documentationIssue quotes upon receiving instructions from the UnderwiterDecline submission request if not within UW guidelinesCapture information / documents Transaction file managementParticipate in post-binding and servicing activities :Update bind subjectivitiesUpdate rater / systems when deemed necessaryPolicy booking and issuance : Ensure quality and timeliness of issuing & booking instructions and follow-up on outstanding policies before hand-off to operationsSupport preparation of Binder / slip policy and endorsement for the SSC to issueFollow-up on opened subjectivities support cancellations letters preparation if not due to non-payment (Cancellation process for Unpaid premium will be handled by SSC and at a later will be automated through Collections system)Work closely with risk engineering and underwriting to ensure risk engineering program is being executedSupport underwriters around necessary gathering and processing of documentation for purchased reinsurance (as applicable).Liaise with brokers / clients to obtain information needed to prepare adjustments on policies where premium is based on rate (TO travel salaries )Partners with the Collection department :Handles Finance queries (through Live Ledger & e- mail)Support their effort to recover unpaid premiumWork with underwriters :Set-up systems and underwriting platforms.Provide technical direction to underwriting on workflow management tools : research & resolve processing problems in workflow management toolsAssist w. data / portfolio managementAssist with Data Integrity together with underwriting : Rate Change actual to technical linesize limits and premium reports are checked against rater and underwriters view to ensure consistency.Support UW projects on an ad-hoc basisCompliance / Conduct supportSupport the completion and binding of raters in a timely mannerSupport UW with reviewing outstanding quotes and ensuring timeliness of booking instructionsSupport UW during Audit preparation by gathering necessary informationSupport UW with addressing complaintsWhat were looking for :Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience but candidates with base skills complemented with business / insurance vocational training will be considered.Prioritizing able to navigate and switch between multiple systems.Microsoft OfficeClient Servicing ability to anticipate client (internal and external) needs and act proactively.Problem Solving identify problems and solutions matched to the appropriate solutions.Attention to Detail demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation is maintained.Master local country language(s) working knowledge of English additional language a plusExcellent communication skillsStrong administration skillsGood time management skills ability to handle multiple priorities organise work and meet deadlinesReady to prove your potential We would love to hear from you.At AIG we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office.
