We are looking for a Python Developer Assistant to work in the Integrated Data Unit. Responsabilità The interim will: Support the migration from legacy data collection and database systems to a new cloud-based data management infrastructure; Develop and optimize Python-based scripts to automate data validation, transformation and migration; Support the integration of data from multiple sources into unified and reusable database; Conduct testing and quality assurance of the new environment. Functie-eisen Requirements: Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level); Excellent knowledge of Python ; Experience with Pyspark is considered an asset; Previous experience in software development, data engineering and/or database management ; Behavioural competencies: ability to work with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results. Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months. Salary: approx. 2259 per month before taxes. Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possiblewithin 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.
