(A Member of Midea Group, Fortune Global 500) Location: Homebase (Anywhere in Italy) | Core Requirement: Solid Client Resources in Italy Job Function: Sales & Business Development Job Overview We are looking for a results-driven Country Manager to lead CLOU's grid-scale energy storage sales and business development in Italy, with coverage of Spain and Portugal. This homebase role is critical to accelerating our market penetration in South Europe. The ideal candidate must have solid client resources in Italy and extensive hands-on experience in the energy storage sector. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Italy's grid-scale and commercial & industrial energy storage sectors; conduct in-depth research on potential clients and emerging market trends. Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including project developers, IPPs, utilities, EPCs, and investors; establish credibility with decision-makers through effective communication. Drive revenue growth in Italy and extended South European regions (Spain, Portugal), focusing on utility and commercial & industrial segments; tailor solutions to meet customer needs. Oversee the entire customer lifecycle: from acquisition, needs assessment, and contract negotiations to post-sales support; foster long-term customer partnerships. Manage project specifications and ensure timely, accurate submissions aligned with customer and business objectives; demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Record and track business opportunities, contracts, and initiatives in the company CRM system; develop regional strategic plans to achieve sales targets and business goals. Provide timely updates to stakeholders on sales performance, market dynamics, project progress, and customer relationships; communicate complex data clearly and concisely. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above. Minimum 3 years of technical sales/business development experience in energy storage and EPC sectors. Hands-on experience with grid-level battery energy storage systems (integrated battery systems, inverters/converters, power supplies, etc.) serving utility and EPC clients. Comprehensive knowledge of Italy's grid-scale and commercial & industrial energy storage market landscape; solid client resources in Italy is a mandatory requirement. Global mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across multi-regional, multicultural teams; strong market insight, problem-solving skills, and commitment to professional ethics. Results-driven, customer-centric, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Willingness to travel 50% domestically (Italy) and occasionally internationally.
