OverviewField Service Technician at JBT Corporation – a global leader in food and beverage technology. We inspire innovation by providing the full power of JBT to support our customers in sustainable, high‑quality production.ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections, repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting in customer facilities;Provide accurate and detailed service visit reports;Provide technical support for all machinery, including advising on maintenance, spare parts, and upgrades; identify trends and share with manager;Train customers on maintenance, operation, safety, and cleaning of machinery;Participate in creating and applying working procedures for Service department tasks;Respond to technical questions from customers, technicians, and sales team;Identify sales opportunities to Sales departments, providing technical information and customer assistance.Qualifications5 years’ experience in machine servicing within food processing plants (consider candidates with less experience);Mechanical, electrical, electronic device expertise (PLC, HMI, VLT…);Knowledge of Salesforce, Outlook and Office;Comfortable working remotely with access to remote support;Enthusiastic about sharing best practices with a team;Committed to delivering great customer service;Excellent Italian and English language skills (Fluent Italian is a must);Valid driving license.Travel & LocationItalian and Greek customers and sporadic support EMEA colleague;Flexible travel and working hours, including weekends;Travelling minimum 80%.BenefitsCompetitive compensation package;Opportunity to work in an established international and fast‑growing company with great personal development opportunities;A work environment where we value individual initiatives;Continuous development and improvement, and always together as a team.Commitment to DiversityDiversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging is a fundamental value to JBT and critical to our future success.
