Istituto Marangoni is seeking highly qualified freelance online experts / lecturers /speakers to teach advanced programs focused on the integration of artificial intelligence within Fashion Product Development and Merchandising . These programs are designed for postgraduate students and industry professionals, aiming to explore how AI is transforming creative direction, product innovation, and retail strategies in the luxury fashion sector. Teaching Areas AI in Creative Direction & Conceptualization : Trend forecasting, consumer insight, and AI-assisted ideation for product lines. AI in Product Development & Virtual Sampling : Digital twins, 3D garment simulation, material innovation, and sustainability-driven workflows. AI-Driven Merchandising & Market Strategy : Assortment planning, pricing intelligence, omni-channel personalization, and retail analytics. AI for Retail Intelligence & Global Operations : Predictive inventory, supply chain optimization, and AI-powered retail experience design. Responsibilities Deliver lectures and workshops combining theoretical knowledge with practical, industry-oriented applications. Introduce students to AI tools for trend analysis, virtual prototyping, assortment simulation, and retail optimization. Guide students through project-based learning, integrating creative, technical, and strategic dimensions. Facilitate discussions on ethics, sustainability, and human-AI collaboration in luxury fashion. Collaborate with industry partners and guest speakers to provide experiential learning opportunities. Requirements Proven professional experience in fashion product development, merchandising, or retail strategy. Expertise in AI applications for fashion (trend forecasting, virtual sampling, pricing, retail analytics). Familiarity with relevant tools and platforms (Style3D, Clo3D, Heuritech , Edited, WGSN AI, Adobe Suite). 5 to 10 years of working experience either at industry or academic level. Fluent in English (minimum B2 level). Updated portfolio or case studies demonstrating innovative use of AI in fashion business.
