We were meant to fly.Job DescriptionAs an EHS Specialist, you will act as a member of the EHS Team in the Rivalta Plant and be the EHS focal point for the assigned area and/or process. Your responsibilities will include developing, planning, and executing the Environmental Health and Safety programs and policies.Essential ResponsibilitiesSupport the EHS Team to define, improve, lean, simplify, communicate and maintain site EHS program requirements and expectationsImplement/modify related EHS programs and procedures to ensure complianceMaintain an in‑depth knowledge of existing and proposed regulationsModify and implement compliance tracking programs and record keeping systemsDevelop and provide education programs related to specific disciplinesProvide and determine alternatives for issue resolutionEnsure compliance of plant operations with regulatory requirements relating to air, solid waste, chemical, water, health and safetyQualifications / RequirementsDegree in Engineering, preferably Chemical/Environmental/Industrial Engineering or related environment, health and safety disciplines, or High School Technical DiplomaPrevious work experience in EHSKnowledge of Italian EHS regulation (D.lgs. 81/2008) and EHS international standards (ISO14001 and ISO45001)Strong oral and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasksFluent Italian and good English knowledgeWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsData Analysis skillsKnowledge of GE EHS programs and systems (including Gensuite)Ability to prioritize workload commitments and multitaskStrong team playerProject leadership skillsInterpersonal skillsWhat We OfferSmart working and work life‑balance: Avio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work‑life balance.
