As an EHS Specialist, you will act as a member of the EHS Team in the Rivalta Plant and be the EHS focal point for the assigned area and/or process. your responsabilities will include to develop, plan and execute the Environmental Health and Safety programs and policies.Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support the EHS Team to define, improve, lean, simplify, communicate and maintain site EHS program requirements and expectations

  • Implement/modify related EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed regulations

  • Modify and implement compliance tracking programs and record keeping systems

  • Develop and provide education programs related to specific disciplines

  • Provide and determine alternatives for issue resolution

  • Ensure compliance of plant operations with regulatory requirements relating to air, solid waste, chemical, water, health and safety

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical/Environmental/Industrial Engineering or related environment, health and safety disciplines, or High School Technical Diploma

  • Previous work experience in EHS

  • Knowledge of Italian EHS regulation 81/2008) and EHS international standards (ISO14001 and ISO45001)

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks

  • Fluent Italian and good English knowledge

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
