OVERVIEW: The Account Director serves as a strategic leader and trusted partner to both clients and internal teams. This role manages large, complex pieces of business and plays a critical part in driving the growth and success of client relationships. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator, strategic thinker, and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the primary client lead, ensuring the agency consistently delivers work that exceeds expectations. Navigate a portfolio of brands within larger organizations, understanding their unique business structures and building strong relationships across multiple stakeholders. Partner closely with internal department leads (Creative, Strategy, Production, Talent) to ensure seamless communication and alignment across teams. Bring a deep understanding of creative, strategy, and talent processes to guide smart, effective decisions on behalf of the campaign and client. Confidently manage external and internal partner relationships, ensuring excellence in execution from start to finish. Foster strong internal relationships and champion collaboration across disciplines. Motivate and inspire team members to perform at their best, modeling accountability, positivity, and proactive problem-solving. Develop clear and strategic client briefs, overseeing execution and ensuring follow-through on deliverables and goals. Set and manage both short- and long-term account objectives that align with client business needs and agency priorities. Identify and pursue opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts, supported by actionable engagement plans. Stay informed on industry trends and proactively share relevant insights and opportunities with clients and internal teams. Manage Account Managers and Associate Account Managers, providing clear expectations, thoughtful feedback, and opportunities for professional growth. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally within a creative or influencer agency, managing clients directly. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to make sound strategic recommendations that align with client goals and best practices. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong organizational with a positive, empowering leadership style that builds team trust, clarity, and confidence. A collaborative spirit and positive attitude, with a desire to elevate both client work and team culture. Deep passion for social media and influencer marketing, with an expert understanding of emerging trends and platforms. Experience managing multi-brand portfolios, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
