For further details, we kindly invite you to follow us on Linkedin to stay updated with the latest job opportunities.PositionOur client, an important multinational Group operating in the FMCG, is currently looking for:R&D Manager / Product Technical Performance Manager – Ice CreamThe position will be placed in the Technical R&D Unit, which oversees end-to-end the research and development/industrialization and continuous improvement of the products of the category.They will have the main scope to ensure the development of new products. Furthermore, they will manage the development and improvement of existing products, also through close collaboration with plant technologists (and Technology Professional Family).Main Task/Activities:Will ensure the category innovation through the development and the industrialization of new productsWill ensure the quality constant improvement (performance) of existing products, of production systems and raw materialsWill provide technical product-process support to group plant technologistsWill coordinate the definitions of doses for new productsWill ensure the coordination and supervises the execution in the plant of new process technologies tests and new machineries potentially impacting the quality of products belonging to the CategoryWill collaborate with the competent technical bodies, in the design of new machineries or modifications of the existing onesWill support the Category Process Manager in ensuring the structuring of the technological and product evolution plan for his own Category (new products, improvements to existing ones, etc.)Interfacing with HR he/she will be accountable for managing people assigned, ensuring a management system based on group values, motivation, competence development and empowermentWill recruit, manage, motivate, coach and develop own teamWill Guarantee Human Resources professional development, evaluating people and proposing development initiativesRequirementsMSc or PhD degree in Food Engineering, Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent15 + years of experience, ideally within R&D Lab in multinational FMCG companiesStrong skills with MS Office (especially Powerpoint and Excel)English professional proficiency required, any other language is a plusProject ManagementPeople ManagementExcellent relational skillsComplexity managementAvailability to frequent business trips (about 50% of the time, mainly to Europe and US)Location: South Piedmont, ItalyOther informationInterested people should send a detailed Curriculum Vitae, with the necessary written consent to holding their personal dataThis company is an equal opportunities employer.
