The Digital Solutions unit within Gridspertise is looking for an IT Architect. Join us What you will do: As IT Architect in the Digital Solutions field, you will be responsible for all activities related to:Formulating and implementing robust architectural strategies and roadmaps for SaaS Solutions. Evaluating and selecting appropriate technology solutions and vendors; Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to guide technical work, ensuring alignment with architectural vision; Providing expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerization, and orchestration; Creating a suite of products based on a unified cross/global functional architecture; Overseeing deployment strategies on cloud platforms and employing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) techniques; Ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and data governance standards in enterprise architecture; Applying DevSecOps practices and CI/CD strategies to optimize development workflows; Conducting software testing, encompassing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and leveraging appropriate tools; Implementing monitoring and observability solutions to guarantee application performance and reliability; Leveraging a global perspective on UX, IoT, and data engineering fundamentals to enhance architectural decisions; Collaborating with stakeholders, including Product Owners, UX/UI and Service Designers, Developers, to align architectural decisions with business objectives. Who you are: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture or other STEM with:3+ years of experience in a similar role; Proficiency in software and enterprise architecture; Familiarity with agile frameworks such as SAFe and traditional frameworks like TOGAF and Zachman; Experience in creating and implementing architecture strategies and roadmaps for SaaS Solutions; Experience with cloud-native architectures and technologies; Familiarity with microservices architecture and its implementation, including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and proficiency in both API-driven and event-driven development; A technical background as a programmer (preferably in Java, TypeScript, React, Rust, GO) and as a technical architect; Experience in creating a suite of products based on a unified cross/global functional architecture; Proficiency and certifications in deployment strategies on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure) and mastery of technologies like Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and Ansible; Ideally, experience in multiple of the following areas:- Technology stack of modern web applications- Relational and NoSQL databases - Microservice architectures - Container technologies (Docker) - Big Data libraries (Spark, Hive) - Edge Computing (architecture, security, and privacy) Advanced proficiency in English.Following characteristics are considered a plus: Knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy considerations in enterprise architecture; Expertise in DevSecOps practices and CI/CD strategies and tools, such as Jenkins, Gitlab, SonarQube, Puppet, etc; Experience in software testing methodologies and tools. Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing using tools like JUnit, Selenium, Jest, or PyTest; Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or ELK Stack to ensure the performance and reliability of applications; Experience in Software companies in the Smart Grids space; Proficiency in other languages: Spanish.
