Overview 2 Hour Learning seeks a technically rigorous product leader to spearhead the modernization of our AI-driven learning ecosystem. What You Will Be Doing Cultivating and applying deep expertise in education products to inform strategic decisions Authoring technical specifications that resolve critical technical choices and emphasize simplicity, efficiency, and sustainable design Deploying generative AI technologies to automate and optimize engineering workflows, in alignment with the strategic objective of minimizing manual effort What You Won’t Be Doing Focusing purely on people management; this role centers on your business insight and technical judgment Spending time in unnecessary meetings, committees, and administrative overhead; we have automated management burdens to free you for value-creating, hands-on work Proposing high-level strategies detached from execution; your guidance must stem from product-level understanding Vice President Of Product Engineering Key Responsibilities Serve as the CTO for one or more education products, owning foundational competencies and generating business value through flawless execution and strategic judgment Basic Requirements Significant experience or strong interest in data-driven learning science 7+ years of experience making critical architecture and design decisions on software projects, including application of architecture design patterns or major open source technologies 2+ years of experience making design decisions involving cloud computing services (primarily AWS) 4+ years of experience in roles with complete technical and delivery ownership of a revenue-generating product Experience developing product features that leverage advanced Generative AI capabilities Experience applying Generative AI to streamline work processes About 2 Hour Learning Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be.
