Hiring IT Support/Network Engineers for freelance projects | International Technical Recruiter Title: Onsite Desktop Support Specialist City: Naples, Italy Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite Engagement Type: Contract / Permanent (project dependent) Role Overview This position is ideal for an onsite IT professional who thrives in fast-moving office environments and enjoys resolving technical issues directly with users. Based in Naples, the role requires daily collaboration with local staff and coordination with global IT teams, making fluency in Italian and strong English communication a key requirement. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for onsite IT support requests Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and office peripherals Perform system setups, device replacements, and user onboarding activities Assist with user access management, including password resets and basic directory tasks Support productivity tools such as Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams Identify and resolve network-related issues (wired/wireless connectivity, basic VPN checks) Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and hardware inventory Work closely with remote support teams to escalates and resolve complex issues Ensure minimal downtime and a smooth end-user IT experience Required Skills & Experience Previous experience in desktop support, IT support, or field support roles Solid understanding of Windows 10/11 operating systems Hands‑on experience with PC hardware, printers, and accessories Ability to communicate technical solutions in a simple, user-friendly manner Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail Language Skills (Essential) Italian: Fluent or native level English: Professional working proficiency Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Part‑time Job Function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
