Hiring IT Support/Network Engineers for freelance projects | International Technical RecruiterTitle: Onsite Desktop Support SpecialistCity: Naples, ItalyWork Arrangement: Fully OnsiteEngagement Type: Contract / Permanent (project dependent)Role OverviewThis position is ideal for an onsite IT professional who thrives in fast-moving office environments and enjoys resolving technical issues directly with users.Based in Naples, the role requires daily collaboration with local staff and coordination with global IT teams, making fluency in Italian and strong English communication a key requirement.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the first point of contact for onsite IT support requestsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and office peripheralsPerform system setups, device replacements, and user onboarding activitiesAssist with user access management, including password resets and basic directory tasksSupport productivity tools such as Microsoft 365, Outlook, and TeamsIdentify and resolve network-related issues (wired/wireless connectivity, basic VPN checks)Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and hardware inventoryWork closely with remote support teams to escalates and resolve complex issuesEnsure minimal downtime and a smooth end-user IT experienceRequired Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in desktop support, IT support, or field support rolesSolid understanding of Windows ***** operating systemsHands-on experience with PC hardware, printers, and accessoriesAbility to communicate technical solutions in a simple, user-friendly mannerStrong problem-solving mindset and attention to detailLanguage Skills (Essential)Italian: Fluent or native levelEnglish: Professional working proficiencySeniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypePart-timeJob FunctionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting#J-*****-Ljbffr
