Your role involves partnering with territory leaders on budget planning and investment decisions that directly influence how audiences experience our content. You’ll work closely with global colleagues to build scalable processes and share best practices across markets. Throughout your day, you’ll coordinate with teams across different time zones, contributing to the exciting challenge of establishing Amazon MGM’s theatrical presence worldwide and bringing world‑class storytelling to international audiences.About the teamYou’ll join Amazon MGM Studios’ International Theatrical Finance team, building the financial infrastructure for our global theatrical expansion. Our team is focused on bringing innovation with the resources and scale of Amazon, creating an environment where your contributions directly impact how audiences worldwide experience our content.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of resultsExperience communicating results to senior leadership8+ years of finance or related analytical field experience, with demonstrated expertise in FP&A/Strategic financePreferred QualificationsMBA, or CPAExperience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packagesExperience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)Experience in the entertainment industryExperience in international or multi‑territory finance operations, particularly in entertainment, media, or content distributionAcknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
