Hyatt Regency Rome Central is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Office Manager to join our pre-opening team.

The role will report to the Executive Assistant Manager.

Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a newly renovated contemporary 5 star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.
The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food & beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Operational Oversight
Ensure smooth coordination with other departments, such as Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B, to enhance guest satisfaction.
Monitor and optimize room availability and revenue through effective room allocation and up-selling strategies.

Guest Relations
Act as the primary contact for guest issues and escalations, resolving them promptly and professionally.
Oversee VIP guest arrivals and departures, ensuring personalized service.
Implement initiatives to gather and respond to guest feedback to improve service quality.

Team Leadership and Development
Recruit, train, and develop front office staff to meet operational and service standards.
Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and feedback sessions to enhance team performance.
Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while optimizing labor costs.

Financial and Amministrative Duties
Ensure accurate billing procedures and proper cash handling practices.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting for the Front Office department.

Compliance and Standards
Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and legal requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment.
Oversee the implementation of health and safety protocols within the department.

Skills and requirements:
Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
At least 3-5 years of experience in front office operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial position.
Experience in luxury or upscale hospitality environments is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Opera Cloud.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluency in english; additional language skills are a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays is essential.
Team performance and adherence to brand standards.
