Together with our destination experts, our sales and account management teams generate business by partnering with our customers (Tour Operators, Travel Agencies) to shape exciting itineraries suited to their traveler’s needs. We take care of everything from ground support, hotel bookings, sightseeing, restaurants, and local guides; all while providing 24/7 customer support so that travelers from over 50 countries can enjoy memorable travel experiences worry free.About the RoleWe are currently offering a position as MICE Coordinator , in our Rome Office, for a Maternity Leave cover.As MICE Coordinator, you will be responsible for the successful performance of the MICE travel of international customers from the beginning to the end. Working closely with Sales and other internal department stakeholders, you will also be responsible of supplier relationship management, presenting the creation of tailor‑made concepts & itineraries to our international customers.Reporting to our Project Manager, you will work closely with our Sales team and take the lead and manage throughout the execution phase any project, including supervision on‑site as needed. In addition, you will oversee all financial matters, ensuring open communication and alignment between key stakeholders, whilst always keeping the most efficient and profitable way in mind.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand client’s needs and expectations, liaising with sales to ascertain client’s precise requirements.Manage strategy & planning of all activities related to the specific business assigned, including:Select & negotiate appropriate vendors to supply all components of the itinerary/package.Monitor and control services confirmed within given budgets.Oversee all aspects of the execution, handling Sales/Clients enquiries and troubleshooting.Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles.Implement and adopt appropriate systems, procedures & measurement tools to ensure excellent service standard and unparalleled customer satisfaction.Schedule business trips and inspection when needed.ComplexityContributing to the promotion of the destination, sales and margin growth.Ensuring delivery of excellent quality standard from both land service and hotel suppliers.Bringing right balance of creativity, accuracy and problem solving.Meeting assigned objectives & targets.Travelling up to 20%.Key Performance IndicatorsNew Client acquisition, and increased revenue through upsellingExpansion in the market and securing high-value clients.Successful execution of a variety of corporate events.Successful delivery of projects within budgets and on time.Client satisfaction, excellent customer feedback and repeat business.Knowledge, Skills, Experience, QualificationsSolid evidence of work experience within the MICE industry whether in DMC/ Agency or Hospitality companiesExcellent knowledge of ITALY as a DestinationA portfolio of corporate clients, and an excellent network of suppliers within Italy.Experience in pitching to clients and securing business, as well as upselling and influencing throughout the projectProven track of project management, negotiation and analytical skillsFluency in English is essential, any additional language is a plusExcellent project and time management skillsStrong planning and execution skillsMS Office skillsAbility to interact effectively with internal management at all levelsAbility to effectively influence at multiple levels (With clients and internal staff) with excellent communication skillsTeam player, team builder, ability to work both in group situations and as an individualCreative thinking for effective problem resolutionExcellent at multitasking and ability to prioritise and meet deadlinesCompetencies of the Role HolderStrong organisational Skills, able to plan and deliver multiple projects in tandemFinancially literate and able to deliver projects within budget and with highest profitability for the company in mind.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to work cross‑functionally with different departmentsAbility to win new business, and upsell throughout a projectEffective relationship builder (With clients, Suppliers and internal staff)Effective Crisis Management, and problem‑solving abilities.Commercially minded, with a keen eye for market trendsAnalytical and reporting skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
