It features a collection of beautifully restored monastic structures, a 12th-century chapel, and nearly 6 hectares of ancient gardens offering breathtaking views of the city, along with 196 meticulously furnished rooms and suites, including the largest and most exclusive suite in Venice.Annual art installations rotate throughout the property in conjunction with the Venice Biennale. Inside, the hotel seamlessly blends contemporary style with Renaissance influences, boasting six-meter-high ceilings, wide corridors, grand staircases, and intricate details such as terrazzo floors, silk-covered walls, and Murano glass chandeliers, making it one of Europe’s premier hotels for art exhibitions.Serenity permeates the hotel’s Longevity Spa, which features a heated outdoor pool, tennis court, jogging paths, a pitch & putt golf course, and a fully equipped kids’ club – ensuring an unforgettable stay.The hotel’s proximity to St. Mark’s Square, its exceptional culinary offerings, and its unique combination of indoor and outdoor venues invite guests to create truly memorable experiences.As we prepare for our imminent reopening, we are seeking aFront Office Agentto join our Front Office Team.Role DescriptionAsFront Office Agent, you will be a key ambassador of San Clemente Palace Venice and a vital member of the Guest Services team. This position plays a critical role in shaping the guest experience, acting as the first and last point of personal contact for our guests.You will ensure a seamless, highly personalized journey from arrival to departure, consistently reflecting the resort’s five-star standards and commitment to excellence.ResponsibilitiesManaging smooth and efficient check-in and check-out procedures in line with luxury standardsHandling billing, payments (cash, credit cards, direct billing), and ensuring accuracy at all timesPreparing key packets and assigning rooms according to guest preferences and room categoriesWarmly welcoming guests and providing a complete introduction to the resort’s facilities and servicesHandling incoming calls, messages, and guest correspondence with professionalism and discretionActing as a primary point of contact for guest requests, inquiries, and concernsMaintaining accurate reservations, cancellations, and modifications within the PMSVerifying guest details, rates, and payment methods upon arrivalCoordinating closely with Concierge, Housekeeping, and Engineering to ensure seamless service deliveryEnsuring clear shift handovers and continuity of serviceProactively anticipating guest needs and personalizing the guest experienceUpholding confidentiality and maintaining impeccable front desk presentation at all timesAdditional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotelQualificationsDiploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field (preferred)Minimum 1–2 years of Front Office or Guest Relations experience in a four or five-star luxury hotelFluent in Italian and English (written and spoken); additional languages are a strong advantageProficiency with hotel PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio or similar) and Microsoft OfficeStrong financial accuracy in handling cash, foreign currency, and credit card transactionsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsA genuine passion for luxury hospitality and guest service excellenceAbility to remain calm, professional, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environmentAdditional InformationLocation: Venice, Italy –Based onSan Clemente Island, Venice (daily boat transfers required)Type of work: Full timeFlexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak periodsYou must possess the legal right to work in ItalyWhat We OfferOpportunity to work in one of Europe’s most prestigious luxury resortsA unique workplace immersed in history, art, and cultureCompetitive compensation packageAccommodation, meals, uniform, and on-property benefitsContinuous training and professional developmentA dynamic, supportive, and international team environmentApply NowReady to be part of an exceptional luxury hospitality experience?
