RWE Renewables Europe & Australia GmbH, Rome, MadridTo start as soon as possible, Full time, PermanentFunctional area: Quality ManagementOur Onshore Quality Management Team within RWE Renewables is looking for an experienced Quality Manager for supporting our European and Australian onshore renewables projects with a focus on solar projects. The successful candidate will have significant experience of the complete project lifecycle of large infrastructure projects (priority PV, electrical or wind industry) and has delivered at least one major project in a quality role.Definition of the project-related quality strategies in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and 10006:2017Setting up and implementation of concepts, processes and methods for quality planning, assurance and control for onshore projects from concept to handover to end client as per our Directive and contactsPlanning and managing current and new risk based detailed quality assurance and control activities for the assigned project(s), including coordination of external quality resources and the related budgets.Travel to FAT and construction sites for some inspections expectedManage contractors performance, quality reporting, escalating and dispute resolution for QualityAssessing non-conformities, deviations, clarifying causes and follow up with suppliersNegotiate Quality Assurance Agreements with potential suppliersActing as (Lead) Auditor for quality audits acc. ISO 19011:2018 on our supply chainYour profileA successfully completed university degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or in a comparable field) and qualifications as a Quality Auditor and/or Quality Manager or comparable, obtained by a professional body such as the EOQ or the CQIPractical experience from the PV, electrical or wind, construction and/or manufacturing industry and knowledge of installation techniques and methodologiesExtensive experience in setting up and maintaining resource plans and budgetsSkills and experience in writing (quality) specification and negotiating them with major contractors and experience in assessing, managing and where necessary improving supplier performanceProblem solving work management skillsKnowledge of the industry and its norms and standards and you will be able to use root cause analysis and auditing techniques to identify and remedy issues such as serial defectsGood knowledge and network in the solar industry - mainly South Europe will be advantageousBusiness level fluency in Italian, French or Spanish is mandatory.
