The IT Application Lead will be involved in the application maintenance and new developments for the systems used by Allianz Italy companies for general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, controlling, consolidation and regulatory reporting, tax, procurement, real estate, based on SAP and Tagetik, according to local and group principles, IFRS16 and IFRS17 included.He/She will drive one of the teams in close cooperation with the other IT areas, with the aim to guarantee defects free applications availability and on time/on budget delivery of new developments.He/She will report to the IT application manager, also proactively supporting him on international initiatives, that will involve IT and business to define how to converge towards common processes and platforms according to local requirements and maintaining local specificities.The ideal candidate must have a strong background in insurance finance operations with a focus on accounting functions, and IT expertise in IT for finance applications.Main tasks:Maintain and monitor systems and applications in scope, support the business to meet deadlinesAssure the compliance with the internal procedures and policiesEnsure that new implementation and projects are planned and executed in line with business strategy and group IT standardsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Information Technology Valuable experience (5+ years) working in insurance finance operationsKnowledge of insurance accounting and in particular IFRS related principlesStrong background in IT applications and systems, with focus on SAPKnowledge of Software Lifecycle, Agile and WaterfallSuccessful teamwork experience and leadership abilities to manage IT teamsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersStrong goal oriented mindset, initiative, autonomy, proactivity, problem solving abilitiesEnglish Professional levelAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
