Programme Manager – Guidewire ClaimCenter (Italian Speaking)

Location: Milan, Italy (primarily on-site)
Language: Italian (fluent) & English

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager (or Senior Project Manager) to lead a Guidewire ClaimCenter rollout across multiple sites in Italy, followed by a phased global deployment.

The role sits within a large, international insurance and risk advisory organisation, operating across commercial and specialty insurance lines, with a strong focus on technology-enabled transformation and operational excellence.
This is a hands-on delivery role, requiring strong on-site presence in Milan, working closely with business stakeholders, IT, systems integrators, and regional leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end programme delivery of a Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation, starting with Italy and scaling globally
Own programme governance, planning, milestones, dependencies, and risk management
Act as the senior point of accountability across business, IT, and vendor teams
Coordinate multiple workstreams including claims operations, integration, data migration, testing, and change management
Manage relationships with systems integrators and third-party vendors
Ensure alignment between global design standards and local Italian business requirements
Drive on-site workshops, steering committees, and executive updates
Ensure delivery within time, budget, and quality constraints
Support transition from local rollout to global template and rollout strategy

Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Programme Manager delivering large-scale insurance technology programmes
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter rollouts (implementation or major upgrades)
Deep understanding of claims processes within P&C / Commercial Insurance
Experience managing multi-site and multi-country rollouts
Strong stakeholder management skills at senior and executive level
Fluent Italian (mandatory) and strong English communication skills
Experience working closely with SI partners (e.g. large global consultancies)
Comfortable working in a primarily on-site environment in Milan

Nice to Have:
Broader Guidewire suite exposure (PolicyCenter / BillingCenter)
Experience delivering global insurance transformation programmes
Familiarity with Agile / hybrid delivery models
Prior experience in complex, matrixed global organisations

Working Model:
Hybrid working model, with a strong preference for on-site presence in Milan, particularly during the Italian rollout phase
On-site engagement is key to effective stakeholder collaboration, governance, and delivery leadership
Flexibility will be considered as the programme matures and transitions into the global rollout phase
The role offers excellent compensation , reflecting the seniority, delivery responsibility, and on-site commitment required
